The Coach House Roden
In 1946, during excavations, a mass grave of 153 children’s skeletons was found in the church of Vries (village near Roden). No one knows what or why these children died 1000 years ago.
51 artists have each made three coffins as a tribute to these children. Together, these boxes form a group installation, in which the public is invited to regroup the boxes.
