This sculpture is an homage to the Indonesian women (my ancestress). These women always use their hair in a bun. I use the colour black (no colour) and white (all the colours). Black and white is an important issue in my work, as me, always balancing between extremes. The bun is here an other face. Symbolic also me. Living in two cultures. Always looking for balance. Who am I ?
